Our 4-hour Introduction to Outdoor Bouldering workshop held at the idyllic Sally in the Woods, just outside Bathampton, is the perfect place to start. Led by our experienced instructors, you'll learn the necessary skills, techniques, and safety protocols to enjoy outdoor bouldering in the UK. Book now and take your climbing to the great outdoors!
These workshops are designed so that you leave with an understanding of the following aspects of the sport:
- Understanding Guidebooks and access.
- Topping out/down climbing.
- Understanding bouldering mat design and use.
- Effective mat placement.
- Spotting/Falling.
- Crag Etiquette/ Respect the Rock.
- Understanding conditions.
- Environmental welfare/Leave no Trace.
- Online Resources (BMC RAD, UKC, Rock fax).
These workshops are £60 per person, with a maximum ratio of 1:6 with your coach.
