About the Instructor:

Madelaine Corbin is a fiber artist with a focus on weaving and natural dyeing. Her work has taken her around the world to learn about ancient dyes, sericulture, loom making, and where color comes from. Her studies inform her practice and the classes she teaches in fiber, dyeing, and textile construction methods. Madelaine grows her own dye plants for her artworks and helps cultivate dye gardens for other color enthusiasts and educational programs. Madelaine’s work has been supported by residencies across the United States and around the world.
