About this Event
Dougy Wright, local naturalist and moth enthusiast, will be leading a session at Tri Gwel Helston, for those who would like to know more about moths.
- Look at live specimens he has collected in his traps overnight.
- Get advice about identifying both common and less common moths.
- Find out about simple equipment that can be used by the beginner to make a moth trap - and by those who are moving on to more sophisticated techniques.
Steve Bury, who led a nature walk on the site last September, will also be in attendance, and will offer the opportunity to look round the site more widely. It will be possible for those attending to take part in both activities.
The session will also enable those coming to see for themselves what the Downsland Charity has been doing on the site over the last year, and to talk to members of the working party about our plans.
