Learn how to make 1 piece molds, 2 piece molds, and the basics of how to resin and silicone/rubber cast. People will get an option of what they would like to make in their 1 piece mold. There is a 2nd mold, a solid mold to make a that people will get to cast. You will leave on day 2 with a mold and 3 cast items. This will very much be a hands on class.(Aug 19th and 20th)
Day 1 (2.5 hours each with a 30 minute runover): This is the day you will learn all about the various types of common mold types you can make. Then you will prep and pour a 1 piece mold by the end of this session.
Day 2 (2.5 hours each with a 30 minute runover): We start the session by breaking open our molds poured the previous day. You will then learn about resins and urethanes.
We will be working in a ventilated space but it is still recommended to bring and wear a respirator mask.
