Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

Let's write pretty and learn the art of Modern Calligraphy with artist Phylecia Sutherland. We will go through your tools, basic strokes and drills before moving onto letterforms, words and sentences. Phylecia has lots of tips and tricks making this a bit more in-depth than a usual beginner's course.

You'll also be taking away the starter kit used in class which includes a workbook of exercises, your pen, nib and a pot of ink so you can keep practicing on your beautiful, new writing skills.

BEGINNERS / ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED

This workshop is a perfect "You + Me" experience! Young adults aged 12 and above are welcome to join when accompanied by a paying adult.

We are able to provide credit / transfer onto another course or workshop if there is two or more weeks’ notice.

Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event. We have incurred material costs & committed numbers to the tutor.
