This introductory Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa course offers a practical, compassionate starting point for understanding mental distress and supporting others. Participants learn how to recognise signs, approach conversations safely, and guide someone toward appropriate help.
Central to the course is Te Whare Tapa Whā, which we unpack as a holistic model that shapes how we view and respond to wellbeing in Aotearoa.
Delivered by an Accredited MHFA Aotearoa Instructor with lived experience, the course blends evidence-based tools with culturally grounded practice, creating a safe space for learning, reflection, and strengthening community care.
This is an R18, and educational purposes only - it is not a support or therapy group.
