About this Event

No prior programming experience or feeling a little rusty? No problem! In this hands-on studio, we’ll explore the fundamentals of HTML and CSS–the essential building blocks of web development–to help you create your own personalized ePortfolio website.

You’ll start by learning the basics of HTML for structuring your website and CSS for styling it. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to start building your own portfolio using free and beautiful templates to help you get started. This studio is designed specifically for beginners and will provide you with step-by-step guidance to get started with learning “front-end” development.

Whether you want to showcase your meticulous CAD models, novel research, coding projects, or simply learn HTML/CSS, we welcome engineering majors of all disciplines! Bring a laptop and your creative ideas to get the most out of this interactive session. This is your chance to start building your web design skills and leave with a tangible product you can proudly share.
