About this Event
Join Ranger Erica for a tour of Frick Park Trails! Over the course of the summer, this trail series will explore different trails around Frick Park giving everyone new ways to experience the park from multiple different entrances! Participants are encouraged to sign up for event updates, pack water, and wear closed toe shoes for safety. These hikes will be easy-to-moderate pace and under 2.5 miles. Participants should be comfortable walking on crushed stone terrain, up and down slopes, and crossing potentially slippery boardwalks. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcomed.
July 2nd: This hike will be meeting at the lower parking lot in Frick Park (use nearest residential address of 1027 Lancaster Ave and proceed down the hill to the parking lot) at 5:00PM. There is a port-a-john available, however participants should pack their own water bottles. On this hike we will explore the wetland areas of Frick Park. Participants should prepare for 1.95mi hike with 79ft of elevation gain. This hike will be a very slow and gradual pace with little elevation change.
