About this Event
EWI is an essential part of the Retrofit revolution, with some estimates stating that every one of the UKs 26m homes will need to have some level of insulation upgrades as we push to meet Net Zero targets. The need for EWI installers is huge.
Whatever your skill levels, join us for this fully funded one day taster course in this essential trade. The day is led by an industry specialist with years of experience and participants will learn the fundamentals as way of an introduction to EWI (External Wall Insulation). This is a practical course during which you will get to apply EWI panels and mesh and render. You will also learn some key points of theory.
This event is supported by the SPF Construction Skills Hub. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
