Ready to take your shooting skills to the next level? This hands-on introductory course is designed
for individuals who are already safe and comfortable handling a handgun and want to learn the
safety procedures, movement skills, and scoring rules used in competitive shooting.
What You'll Learn:
• Competition safety standards
• Rules and scoring overview (USPSA-style format)
• Dry fire movement and efficiency drills
• Live range drills
• One scored course of fire
Required Gear:
• Photo ID with address
• Your own firearm
• 3–4 magazines
• 150–200 rounds of ammunition
• Belt with holster
• 3–4 magazine pouches
• Eye and ear protection (available for purchase at check-in)
Meet Your Instructor:
Daniel Martincin is a military combat veteran and lifelong firearms enthusiast with six years of
competitive shooting experience and participation in over 60 matches. He is a USPSA Range
Officer, an A-Class USPSA shooter, & a Master Class Steel Challenge pistol competitor. Daniel has
trained under respected instructors including Dustin Mowry, Ernest Langdon, and others.
