About this Event
This online training is for professionals who work closely with families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs who are experiencing young people using abusive and disruptive behaviours within the home.
A full day, interactive training session run by Relavate with the following aims:
- To gain a greater of understanding of Child/Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA).
- To understand key areas around the language and definitions used for CAPVA.
- Understanding the motivations behind CAPVA and how it can be identified.
- To understand Family and Power Dynamics around Domestic Abuse.
- To gain a better understanding of the adolescent brain and childhood trauma.
- To increase knowledge of practical approaches and understand intervention provisions.
