10am-1pm
$100 per adult or child (age 9 and older)

Ages 9 and older can participate in the workshop.
Children under 9 should be accompanied by an adult not participating in beekeeping.
Dimitri comes from a multigenerational family of beekeepers, keeps bees on his roof at home in El Granada.
Dimitri and Farmer Jenna are collaborators in beekeeping at Hawk Creek Farm.
This Farm Experience includes:

  • a tour of the farm and brief history of the land
  • invitation to participate in the Introduction to Backyard Beekeeping workshop
  • Hawk Creek Farm tea, snacks and honey-tasting
  • opportunity to harvest and bring home some farm bounty
  • time to explore and enjoy the beauty of the farm

Farm Experiences are open to the public.
