Bio
Andrea Gehrz has been a working astrologer for over 25 years. She currently teaches Astrology locally
and globally to new and advanced practitioners of the craft. Cutting her teeth with seven years at the
Portland School of Astrology, Gehrz has been a staple teacher of the Portland astrological community for
over a decade. She is most well-known for her ubiquitous textbook "Astrological Remediation: A Guide
for the Modern Practitioner", honing in on her specialty of healing any challenge in a natal chart. Her
teaching style is socratic and discussion-based, with student involvement at every turn. Gehrz also
memorializes charts into unique art pieces, mainly beaded bouquets. Many students choose to procure a
bouquet of their own natal Sun-Moon-Rising after learning how to read their chart during class. While
Gehrz has a far-reaching audience and ever-growing community of students, she aims to remain

Class Description
In this life-changing six-week course, students will learn to dissect and understand the complex wheel of
the astrological chart. Students will gain knowledge in every part of the basic layers of chart, becoming
high-level theorists in the process. After taking this class, they will be able to talk with friends and loved
ones about their charts, be able to start watching their own chart IN REAL TIME, and are well on the way
