Introduction to ASL Level I

A new year deserves a meaningful resolution. Learning sign language opens the door to meaningful inclusion—whether connecting with the Deaf community, communicating with Deaf family members, strengthening accessibility in the workplace, or simply mastering a powerful new skill.

It’s time to jumpstart our signing skills! If you are looking to:
Develop basic conversational fluency in American Sign Language

• Communicate effectively with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals

• Build a strong foundation in ASL grammar, syntax, and sentence structure

• Improve receptive (understanding) and expressive (signing) skills

• Gain confidence using ASL in real-world and social settings

• Learn Deaf culture, history, and community norms

Each session consist of six (6) classes every Thursdays, first class begins on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM and ends on May 28, 2026.

Info: Ms. Lily is a native signer based in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a certified interpreter with over 20 years of experience working within the Deaf community across multiple states. In addition to her interpreting work, she has taught American Sign Language for more than 10 years, bringing deep cultural knowledge and practical expertise to her instruction.
