Learn to cultivate "The Flex Advantage": practical skills to adapt, stay focused and always take effective action at work and in life.
About this Event

"Thank you so much for the first two sessions with our team. They’ve already made a real impact!!"

Pauline Skea - Director. Specsavers.

Step To ACTion is a supportive, focused session for professionals who want to feel more confident, clear and effective in how they think, decide and act at work.

We work on what we call The Flex Advantage — the ability to notice what’s happening in your mind, stay steady under pressure, and choose actions that keep you aligned with what matters.

People who cultivate and build The Flex Advantage don’t avoid stress or uncertainty — they navigate it with clarity.

Over a two and a half hour session, you’ll learn how The Flex Advantage helps you maintain clarity, respond calmly under pressure, and stay connected to your priorities — even when the environment is fast-paced or uncertain.

Think of it as strengthening the human side of performance: the self-awareness, grounded focus and behavioural steadiness that support meaningful leadership, constructive communication and thoughtful decision-making.

This session offers a welcoming, practical introduction to building mental capability in a way that feels accessible, sustainable and genuinely useful. You’ll leave with tools you can use immediately and a framework that can grow with you — whether your goal is leading with confidence, sustaining resilience, or nurturing a healthier team culture.

Many organisations begin with this session before progressing to more in-depth Bonmotus programmes such as Values To ACTion or Mind To ACTion.

What You’ll Gain
  • Strategies that support mental clarity and grounded thinking
  • Tools that help you stay steady and effective during pressure
  • Approaches for managing distraction, doubt and internal noise
  • Greater confidence in taking purposeful, values-aligned action
  • Techniques that build resilience and long-term wellbeing
  • A clearer connection between your work and what genuinely matters

Why This Matters for High Performance

Organisations rely on systems and strategy — but the people who thrive are those who can stay centred, think clearly and adapt with confidence.

What’s the ROI?

Even small gains in clarity, resilience and psychological flexibility can create sustainable, human-centred performance advantages. Step To ACTion introduces the practical skills that make this possible.

"Very good course. Michael was excellent. Very engaging. Lots of helpful tips. And gave us good resources to use going forward." Dr Caire Gaughan
