Overview
Come join Beth Strickland, LMFT and learn and enjoy the process of basic skills of Marriage and Family therapy. Marriage and Family Therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy that addresses behaviors of family members and the way these behaviors affect not only individual family members, but also relationships within the family and the family unit as a whole. We will go over Theories, therapeutic skills, learn to conceptualize, plan and intervene to enable positive change in problematic patterns within the family dynamic.
Presenter
Beth Strickland LMFT - Beth Strickland is a graduate from Argosy University and has been practicing as a Marriage Family therapist since 2013. She specializes in helping young people and their families, as a school-based therapist, to navigate life's challenges, such as anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral problems and relationship issues. Her goal is to empower students and their families to build resilience, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and achieve their full potential. She is an Intern clinical supervisor for Professional Services Group, overseeing interns as they move through their graduate program.
Professional Services Group has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7066. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Professional Services Group is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
