The Antique 78rpm Record Shop will be hosting another listening event on Feb 12th at Big Blue downtown.
We’ll be exploring influential musicians of the 1940s. Some of the artists included will be Memphis Minnie, Yank Rachell, James P. Johnson, Nat King Cole, T-Bone Walker, Big Maceo, Buchanan Brothers, Louis Jordan, Moon Mullican, The Ravens, Billie Holiday, Lowell Fulson, Delmore Brothers, the Golden Gate Quartet, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin’ Hopkins etc.
