Intro to Wood Shop Power Tools
Join us in person for a fun and hands on beginner, women friendly course where you'll get to know the basics of power tools used in woodworking. Whether you're a total newbie or just want to brush up on your skills, this event is the perfect place to get comfortable with power tools. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and maybe even make some sawdust friends!

Tools to be covered: drill, impact driver, drill bits and drivers, circular saw, drill press, router, jig saw, table saw, and chop saw.
Class curriculum developed in collaboration with The Staunton Magnificent Women group.
Instructor: Jim Klawon
Must be 18 years old. Closed toe shoes and clothing approprite for wood shop required. Avoid wearing loose clothing or anything that might get caught in power tools.
