In this three-hour class you will learn the basics of how to use the pottery wheel. This includes wedging, centering, coning, pulling a wall, pre-trimming, and cutting off the wheel. This class is for learning or honing your basic wheel skills. I would like to have everyone complete a fire-able piece, but that is not guaranteed.Students should wear clothing they do not mind getting dirty.
The first two pounds of clay are included. Additional clay can be obtained from the studio for $1/pound.
Ages 6-14 welcome but must also have a parent register. 14+ can register for a class without the parent, but a legal guardian must remain on-site while minors attend the class.
