About this Event
Step into the ancient art of Tasseography (Tasseomancy), the mystical practice of reading symbols left behind in tea leaves or coffee grounds. This introductory experience offers a glimpse into a tradition used for centuries as a tool for intuition, reflection, and divination.
We begin with a short 2–3 minute guided meditation to ground your energy and open your intuitive senses. From there, you will learn about the history and cultural roots of tasseography, exploring how this practice has been used across different traditions and spiritual paths.
Participants will also be shown how to properly prepare tea leaves or coffee for divination, including the traditional way of brewing, drinking, and casting your cup. Once your cup is prepared, you will turn it and allow the patterns within to reveal their story.
The workshop includes an interactive group reading, where you will be guided in recognizing common symbols and interpreting the messages within your own cup. This shared experience encourages discussion, intuitive exploration, and learning from one another.
You will also receive handouts and information about the full tasseography course for those who wish to continue developing their skills in this fascinating divinatory art.
Perfect for beginners and the curious alike. Come sip, cast, and discover the stories waiting in your cup.
