Our Intro to Strength Training course is a 4 week, 3 days per week from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM program designed to introduce youth age 10+ to the foundational principles of strength training.This course emphasizes proper technique, body awareness, and the importance of a strong physical foundation for future training.
Each day campers will -
Learn about the different muscle groups.
Learn how to do a proper dynamic warm-up.
Participate in a strength workout that includes bodyweight and age-appropriate resistance training exercises from the 5 Fundamental Movements (squat, hinge, lunge, push, and pull). Proper form and injury prevention will be emphasized.
A core/mobility workout to help improve balance and flexibility.
Learn about the importance of proper nutrition.
Enjoy free play in our performance facility that includes a half basketball court, 40 yards of turf, and lots of sports toys.
Youth can safely participate in strength training with proper guidance and age appropriate programming without any negative effects on their growth. Our Intro to Strength Training Camp will provide a supervised program designed to teach your kiddo how to safely improve their overall strength and create a solid foundation for when they are ready to be introduced to more complex lifting programs
Cost : $200 for Non-Members & $160 for Members
