Intro to Pottery Throwing Workshop
This workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin Reichenberg! It’s intended for those that want to try throwing pottery on the wheel with little to no experience. There will be about 30 minutes of demonstration then Kev will supervise as students make a bowl, and after that everyone gets a second try at making anything they want!
Once your pottery has been fired in the kiln, you’ll be notified that they are ready to be glazed. You can return any Sunday between 10-4pm, and paint your pottery using various different glazes and application methods in a more self driven, laid back atmosphere.
Once glazed, pottery will be fired in the kiln one more time to complete the process. The second firing can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks. You’ll be notified when your pottery is finished and ready for pickup.
