Get to know your new camera and dive into the basics of photography with our Intro to Photography Seminar. In just a couple hours, we'll give you the tips and tools to take great photos, including a solid grasp of important photography elements such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
Taught by our incredible instructors, Nicole Parker & Dave Paul, get ready start capturing the world around you with confidence!
What to bring:
- Pen & paper to take notes.
- Your camera equiptment (fully charged).
About Nicole Parker:
Nicole has a penchant for portrait and architectural work, but her true passion is capturing the natural world. While studying Photojournalism at SAIT she worked as Photo Editor of the campus newspaper, The Weal. She keeps busy pursuing freelance photographic opportunities when she’s not at The Camera Store.
About Dave Paul:
Dave Paul, co-host and equipment expert for The Camera Store, has been involved with all things photography for ages, even owning a mini-lab long before the days of digital. When he is not out testing the latest and greatest gear, he is working a variety of freelance gigs and teaching. Dave loves any excuse to carry a big camera and a long lens.
