Pastel IS synonymous with COLOR PAINTING. In this workshop you will explore several pastel painting techniques resulting in luscious color. You will learn about the Broken Color technique which uses similar colors to create a more interesting pastel painting and learn about hatching, feathering and scumbling techniques to shade. By the end of the workshop you will have a beautiful color rich pastel painting. You can expect thorough demonstrations with plenty of feedback as you become more assured in the use of these techniques.
