CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Come learn with Miri as she guides you step-by-step through your very first #ndlpt canvas. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of needlepoint while stitching on a beautiful cherry blossom hand-painted canvas. Miri will cover essential techniques, materials, and tips to help you feel confident as you stitch, whether you’ve never picked up a needle before or are simply curious about the craft.
This class is designed for true beginners and creatives of all kinds. All supplies are provided, and you’ll leave with a piece well underway, a solid foundation in needlepoint basics, and the skills to continue stitching on your own.
About the Instructor:
Meredith "Miri" Artyukhina is an artist, crafter, cat mom, and recovering paralegal living in NW. During the pandemic, she ditched her dream of sitting the LSAT for her dream of teaching beginners the art of embroidery. Out of this switch, Capital Stitch Co. was born, and she has never been happier.
