This kind of work can be performed by anyone, of any age or size. It doesn't require expensive tools, and can be practiced in the comfort of your own garage or driveway.
Items covered include how to:
— assess the age and condition of your tyres.
— check and adjust your tyre pressure for the conditions.
— correctly clean and lubricate your chain and sprockets.
— check your brakes, including brake pad and brake disk wear.
— check and adjust your levers and controls.
— check and top up your motor oil and coolant.
The skills taught during this workshop in no way replace a bike’s regular maintenance schedule, but should be performed between scheduled servicing to make the rider aware of any potential safety issues or premature wear of essential components of your motorcycle.
