About this Event
Join us for a foundational overview of medicinal mushrooms, exploring mushroom anatomy, the fungi kingdom and its history, and key medicinal species. Students will learn basic materia medica with synergistic herbal pairings, essential medicine-making methods and constituents, and how to make informed, educated choices when purchasing commercial mushroom products.
Lauren Kay is an herbalist out of Oak View, CA and specializes in functional mushrooms. With extensive experience and education, she looks forward to sharing knowledge in the course ‘Intro to Medicinal Mushrooms’ at Ema’s Herbs. Together, we'll demystify the mushroom space and empower you with knowledge to mindfully incorporate these allies into daily life.
