About this Event
No experience needed.
Introduction to Live Coding Visuals is a two day workshop where participants will learn and experiment with Hydra - a free and open source live code-able video synth and coding environment that runs directly in the browser.
We will experiment with sound and visuals to each make a unique piece - pre-made beats will be available to students who prefer visual art. Participants will have the opportunity to make and share their own visualizations and go home with a list of resources they can use to keep playing at home.
The workshop takes place on-site at Willie Mae Rock Camp - and while computers or I-Pads will be available to all participants, students are welcome to bring their own if they have them.
