Intro to Improv 1 for BIPOC FOLKS - Let’s Make This Interesting - with Kevin Vidal

5 WEEKS. ONE SHOW. $420

Sundays, February 22 - April 12

3:45-6:15pm PST

Location: 120 Princess Ave

In this class,  you’ll be guided confidently into the incredible world of improv coming together to play and learn in a supportive and welcoming environment for BIPOC folks.

You’ll learn what makes improv fun to do and fun to watch. You’ll discover how to be funny without trying to be funny, and build the skills to enjoy performing improv scenes, even if that feels scary to read.

Expect lots of laughs and connections as you learn about Improv. By the time you’re finished with Intro 1, your final showcase will be a breezy walk in a wild fun park.

You will move onto Intro 2 confident in making offers, supporting your scene partners, having fun on stage, while engaging with improv in a BIPOC environment.

This class is reserved for BIPOC individuals. No prior improv experience is required—this course is designed for beginners.

If cost is a barrier to participation, please reach out to [email protected] — we want to ensure everyone who wishes to can participate!

Accessibility - 120 Princess Ave is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk.
