Are you wanting to learn how to hike with your kids? Come join us in the outdoors while we help to make the outdoors less intimidating! From arriving at the trailhead and the steps to getting your kids ready, to packing your bag, diaper changes and feeding on the trail, animal safety and everything in between - we will be sharing it all with you at our 'Intro to Hiking' meet-up. We want you to feel confident on the trail and hope that we achieve that through this meet-up. We will be sharing gear demos of our favourite gear including the Osprey Poco Plus hiking carrier, our hydration system and breaking down exactly what we keep in our day hiking pack; first-aid kit, bear spray, the 10 Essentials and more. We will be jam-packing as much essential information that we can!

We are accepting donations for Basically Babies. Basically Babies is an Alberta-based registered charity that provides basic outfitting needs for newborn babies born to families in extreme need in the greater Edmonton and Calgary areas. Basically Babies offers the gift of a complete first year’s wardrobe and supplies for these infants in the form of a beautiful colour-coordinated basket layered with clothing, outerwear, blankets, toys, storybooks, sleepers, undershirts, footwear and other baby essentials. We ask that you bring a small bag of a few items that are new or gently-used to pass along to families in need. These items can include clothing, diapers, storybooks and other essentials items.
