Welcome to the fun and fanciful world of hand lettering! In this introductory course students will learn how to use a brush pen to create fun, bouncy and stylized lettering, perfect for adding flare and personality to your hand made cards and letters. Students will familiarize themselves with applying pressure and smooth movement to create stunning letters and words. At the end of the course, students will have learned how to stylize common phrases such as "Happy Birthday" "Merry Christmas" and "I Love You" and put their practice to work while creating a simple watercolour background to write their chosen phrase upon.
Required Supplies:
Lined or dotted journal, 9x6 or larger
Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen, hard tip,
gel pen or any roller style ball pen, any colour.
