This class is an introduction to the craft of green wood carving. We will start by practicing safety and proper knife grips. After that we will work on carving your very own spreader. A butter spreader is always useful and is appreciated as gift.
No experience is needed and carvers of all skill levels and abilities are welcome. All supplies and tools provided.
Greenwood is recently cut would that is softer and easier to carve than aged or kiln-dried wood. It is an excellent material for new carvers to work with.
