How To Draw Series: Intro to Figure Drawing

Come join us for one or more dates in our exciting class series where you'll learn the fundamentals of figure drawing! We will start with some basics about capturing light and shadow on form, and get into drawing structure and gesture with confidence and style. We will use techniques for visualizing anatomy, and try a few drawing methods and mediums that are sure to improve your drawing toolkit. We will work mainly from live, clothed and sometimes partially-nude models, in a supportive and respectful studio atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this event is perfect for all levels of artists. Our talented instructor- Laura Noble- will guide you through techniques and tips to capture the human form with precision and fluency.

NOTE: THIS CLASS IS OFFERED JUST BEFORE OUR REGULAR 6-8PM DRAWING SESSION, AND YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO STAY AFTER THIS CLASS TO DRAW FROM OUR LIVE MODEL ($30 per class, or $25 each if you pay for four up front- Zelle, Venmo or cash at the door is acceptable!)
