Class Description
This is an introductory class which involves hand sewing construction and basic embroidery. We will be making a needle book, a traditional way to store needles.
We will assemble the book with a simple running stitch. We will decorate the cover, and possibly interior pages with basic embroidery.
The materials fee for this class is $10. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts Venmo.
Learning Objectives
- How to create a storage book for needles
- Basic embroidery stitches, hand sewing assembly, design of embroidery
- Students will take home a felt and wool needle book

Target Audience
Beginners and stduents who are interested in Artisans Asylum's Fiber Arts Shop. Students must be 13 years or older. Any student under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

- Access to A2's Fiber Art Shop and tools for the duration of the session.
Class Policies
Attire: Attendants should wear close-toed shoes and bring reading glasses if needed for detailed work.
