Learn to add intelligence to your art and personal projects. You will need to bring your own laptop for this workshop. In this workshop you will build circuits on small breadboards, using compact microcontroller modules to blink LEDs and run a motor. You will use the Micropython language to create simple programs on the microcontrollers to control these lights and motions. You may choose to solder your components onto a prototyping board, making your project more robust and permanent. A small battery can be added to allow the board to be untethered.
All materials except batteries and tools (wire strippers and soldering equipment) will be included in a take-home kit. Ages 16+. Registration required and opens March 1.
