In this workshop, you’ll be dying 6+ skeins of wool yarn.
Learn about mordants (used to fix, deepen, or brighten dyes), and how to use them to prepare your yarn.
Learn the proper use of dyes and how to achieve bright vibrant colors.
Learn how to care for your dyed yarn.
Materials: All provided! You get to keep the yarn you dye. Wear clothes that you don’t mind possibly getting dye on!
Ages: 15+
Skill level: Beginner - perfect as an intro to yarn and dyeing.
