Have you ever wondered what is it like to hack a website? Did you ever ask yourself how real those scenes in movies are, when someone gets hacked?
This is your chance to answer those questions!
Capture-The-Flag (or CTF) competitions are a way to learn, test and improve cybersecurity skills by trying to find vulnerabilities in prepared, purposefully vulnerable settings.
In this eight hour workshop across two days we will introduce the concept and format behind CTF competitions and teach you about web vulnerabilities.
This course is hands-on and aimed at computer science beginners!✅
Prerequisites:
* Basics in Computer Science, i.e. you should be familiar with fundamental concepts of programming
* A laptop you can bring
* Interest in Cybersecurity, ethical hacking and puzzles
Syllabus:
Day 1:
* Intro to the World of CTFs
* Basics of Web Development
* Web-Security
* Solving your first CTFs
Day 2:
* SQL, Command Injections
* Practice CTFs
* Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
* Solving CTFs
When:
Saturday and Sunday December 10-11th 4 hours a day.
Time: 14-18h
