Curious about coding? Join us on Saturday, March 28 from 11 am to 1 pm for a coding boot camp designed for students in grades 3 to 8. This hands-on, open-house style program lets participants explore computer science in a fun, low-pressure environment with multiple stations to try what interests them most.Kids can experiment with Scratch (block-based coding), Python (text-based coding), electronics and robotics using Micro:Bit and mBot, and unplugged coding activities that require no computer at all. No prior coding experience is needed, and caregivers are welcome to stay.
Families can also visit the sign-up table to learn about future Scratch and Python programs. Come explore, tinker, and discover the exciting world of coding! Registration is appreciated at https://genevapubliclibrary.libcal.com/event/16401149.
