About this Event
Wednesday April 29, 2026, 6-9pm
Clown is a style of theatrical comedy where the performer is fully embodied, follows their joy, is vulnerable, fully commits to the bit, is not afraid to flop, raises the stakes, and believes in themselves with their whole heart that they are brilliant. Everything is for the audience, to see them, and be seen. Clown training empowers performers to shed self-judgement, take risks, build confidence and be a conduit of joy.
Performers will improvise, use their bodies, their voices, write their own text, and perform. As an ensemble, we will experiment, stretch, and flop and arrive at listening and trust, where we move as one. Dress to sweat, bring water, a notebook, pen, and a snack.
Registration is divided 5 spots each at $25/32/40 for finanancial accessibility. You may also audit (learn by watching) the class from the audience for $10. Limit of 20 people. Masks optional. Wheelchair accessible.
