Chakras, or the “Wheels of Life,” are energy centers of the body.We have seven main chakras, which relate to everything from our feelings of safety and security, to our sexuality and creativity, inner drive, ability to give and receive unconditional love, speak our mind, follow our intuition, and connect with a force greater than ourselves. Working with the chakra system can help us foster a deeper relationship with the self and illuminate areas of strength and weakness not just in the physical body but our mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies as well.
During this workshop, we will practice specific yoga postures that are beneficial for the chakras in combination with positive affirmations, meditation and breathing exercises.
Open to members + non-members.
No yoga experience necessary.
Props needed:
- 2 blocks
- 1 blanket
- 1 strap
- wall
- eye bag (or small towel)
If you attend In Person and don't have these, you can borrow ours at the studio. If you attend Online (via zoom), please be sure to have them for the workshop.
All levels welcome.
Open to members and non-members.
