Join us at Manchester Wool and Yarn for a relaxed and friendly introduction to brioche knitting! This workshop is perfect for knitters looking to expand their skills and explore this beautifully textured technique.
We’ll start by learning the fundamentals of brioche stitch using a single colour, helping you understand the unique rhythm and structure of this style. Once you’re comfortable, we’ll progress to working brioche in two colours, creating a striking, reversible fabric with bold contrast.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a solid foundation in brioche knitting and the confidence to continue practicing at home.
What to bring:
- 4mm (40cm) circular knitting needles
- Two highly contrasting colours of DK or Aran weight yarn (approx. 50g of each)
- Stitch marker
