Students will learn the basics of forging and from a piece of steel, create a beautiful and useful knife that can be passed down to the next generation. In this 1-day class, Instructor David will teach beginners to intermediate levels. The knife shown is an example of what your knife may look like. Each one is different according to the student’s creative mind. Many students use this knowledge to open their own forge.
Students may bring their own aprons. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Forge will be hot in summer, so bring water to drink. Forge will be cold in winter, so dress accordingly.
