Join Kevin Burke of Carolina Nature Tours for an informational talk on the popular hobby of watching birds. Bird watching has exploded as an fun and educational pastime for millions of people in the U.S. and around the world.This classroom presentation will go over the basics that anyone will need to get started. We will cover where to go, how to identify common species in our area, different types of binoculars, and many more aspects to get you started. This presentation is good for anyone interested in watching birds, feeding birds, or just has a curiosity about our avian friends. If weather allows, following the presentation attendees will be able to venture out for a brief bird walk to work on their new birding skills!
