Participants will have the opportunity to observe a variety of local species in parks within walking distance of the Y and will be provided with strategies and information on where and when to practice their new skills. Participants will learn basic techniques built around a proven method for identifying species based on a wide variety of factors, including habitat observations, food and shelter needs, and behavioral characteristics, enabling them to progress rapidly in this lifelong activity.
