Denise and Lorraine will discuss the gear, getting started and what to expect on the trail. Participants will also have the opportunity to try on a loaded backpack. You’ll be prepared to join a Dirty Girl Adventures Backpacking trip after this class.
Suggestions for local trails that would provide a good first experience will be shared. Participants will leave with a good understanding of backpacking gear ranging from beginner to more advanced including a basic gear list to take home.
The class will allow for questions and discussion.
