About this Event
Come join us at the 2nd Annual #PortlandBackcountryNight on Dec 18, 2022, organized by Emgee Events! There will be great presentations (and prizes) from Northeast Mountaineering, Andrew Drummond of Ski The Whites, Mike Girard of Jones Snowboards and Mammut, Zach McCarthy from Inclusive Ski Touring & Rob Benton from Acadia Mountain Guides; plus additional raffle prizes, knowledge and hands-on gear demos with expert reps from Blizzard Ski & Technica and live music by Steve Rondo. TICKET & RAFFLE PROCEEDS BENEFIT PROTECT OUR WINTERS AND INCLUSIVE SKI TOURING (501(c)3 NON-PROFITS).
The goals of this event are: to expose new (and existing) backcountry participants to the knowledge and gear they will need to safely explore avalanche terrain; to learn about upcoming events, on-snow demo opportunities and safe backcountry glade zones in New England; to make local connections and meet new potential backcountry partners; to touch, feel and test the industry's best equipment, with experts on hand to answer your questions; to raise funds for Inclusive Ski Touring & Protect Our Winters; and to get FIRED UP for winter!
In the RAFFLE, you can win handsomely: Custom artwork by RP Roberts; 5 Killington Resort tickets and Barryvox package (beacon+shovel+probe) from Mammut; Blizzard skis; Jones Solution splitboard; AIARE courses and guided ski touring / splitboarding from Acadia Mountain Guides & Northeast Mountaineering; Sierra Nevada gear... and lots more! All paid registrants receive (1) free raffle ticket upon check-in.
Adults 21+ enjoy an OPEN BAR at The Portland Club with drinks from Lawson's Finest Liquids, Sierra Nevada & Austin Street Brewing; 21+ ID strictly enforced.

REFUND POLICY: No refunds; if you can't attend, your ticket fee will be donated to Inclusive Ski Touring & Protect Our Winters non-profits (divided equally), OR you may transfer your ticket to someone else.
