About this Event
Intro to African Spiritual Systems
This workshop provides a structured introduction to African spiritual systems for beginners seeking clarity, grounding, and understanding.
African spirituality is not a trend, an aesthetic, or a single practice. It is a collection of disciplined, lineage based systems rooted in culture, ethics, and responsibility. This class focuses on spiritual literacy, not performance or shortcuts.
In this class, students will learn:
• What African spiritual systems are and why they are not interchangeable
• The difference between ancestors, deities, and spirits
• Why ancestor veneration comes first
• The role of Ori, destiny, and character
• The importance of taboos, ethics, and spiritual hygiene
• When to seek divination, teaching, or initiation
This workshop is designed to prevent spiritual confusion, misuse, and harm caused by misinformation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
• Beginners curious about African spirituality
• Those feeling spiritually confused or overwhelmed
• People seeking structure, not trends
• Anyone wanting to learn responsibly before practicing
