Darkness returns. To celebrate, join us at the Yukon Astronomical Society Observatory for discussion of astronomy and (weather permitting) some star gazing. Feel free to bring your own telescope or take a look through some of ours. Entry by donation.Friday: Doors open 8pm. At 8:30pm Dr Christa Van Laerhoven will talk to us about interstellar objects (asteroids and comets from outside our solar system).
Saturday: Doors open at 8pm and starting shortly thereafter we will watch Apollo 13 (the Hollywood movie, RIP Jim Lovell commander of the Apollo 13 mission).
