Guided by artist Patrick de Guzman, you’ll create a captivating campfire scene using dynamic mark-making techniques. Experiment with dashes, lines, curves, and zigzags to build depth, warmth, and movement, bringing the flickering flames and their surroundings to life.

What to Expect:
- Storytelling: Every painting begins with a story. Participants will be encouraged to write a 3-sentence story that will inspire the campfire scene you’ll create together. Your personal narrative will shape your painting and guide the entire session.
- Embracing Mistakes: Art is all about play and experimentation. Patrick encourages everyone to embrace mistakes as part of the creative journey, allowing the process to unfold in unexpected and exciting ways.
- Patrick’s Artistic Journey: Learn about Patrick’s personal artistic journey, his work, and how storytelling plays a central role in his creative process.
- Max 10 participants for a truly relaxed, intimate, and personalized experience.
Location & Experience:
Hosted in the ambient space of the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Calgary, this workshop offers a unique setting for artistic exploration. Further location details will be emailed to registrants upon booking confirmation. All supplies are included, and each participant will receive a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival; water will also be available for minors.
