Interwoven: Yin Yoga, Slow Down for Spring
Before the busyness of the next season takes hold, we invite you to pause, breathe, and reset your nervous system.
Spring is the time to clear stagnation. This session is designed to help you release tension and calm your nervous system through guided stillness and breathwork.
The practice of Yin holds poses for longer periods of time than other forms of yoga. It helps to build emotional awareness in the body as well as resilience and perseverance. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice where floor based poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes. By staying still and using props for support, we move past the muscles to release deep tension in the connective tissues and fascia. Yin is a wonderful complement to traditional exercise and other yoga practices. Yin leaves you feeling stretched and relaxed.

Event Details:
- Yoga mats will be provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own.
- Bring a water bottle.
- No experience is necessary.
- All materials will be provided.
